At Abundant Life Strategies we are committed to serving the faith community and for those who seek Pastoral Counselling or Coaching we seek to integrate the best that the science of psychology, coaching, and the art of psychotherapy have to offer with faith-based principles and teaching.
Theological Training
Elen is tertiary qualified with a Bachelor and Masters degrees. Elen has been committed to building a strong foundation of knowledge and experience which underpins and informs her work. This also includes theological and ministry studies which has been a component of her undergraduate degree and further personal studies over the years.
Experience with the Christian Faith Community
As a Therapist, Elen has had the privilege of working with many in the ministry, lay workers, theological college students, pastors, and their partners, returned missionaries, and many from various church denominations in Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, and as far as the mid north coast.
Many of these clients seek the counsel of someone who is professionally qualified, experienced , and who aligns with the basic tenets of their faith. As a client, this provides a safe space to know that your Therapist/Coach will understand the perspective you bring, and maintain appropriate respectful and confidential boundaries.
